Ask Ari (“we”) provides an AI receptionist for auto shops. This policy explains what personal information we handle and why, in line with Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
What we collect
- From shop owners: name, shop name, email, phone, and anything you tell us when you book a setup or use the owner app.
- From people who talk to the demo: the voice or text conversation with Ari on this website, and any contact details you choose to give her.
- For shops using the service: details of calls and texts Ari handles for the shop, such as the caller’s number, name, what they asked for, call summaries, and recordings where the shop has turned them on.
How we use it
To set up and run the service, to contact you about your setup or account, to show shops their own calls and bookings, and to keep the service secure. We don’t sell personal information and we don’t use it for advertising.
Who processes it for us
We use service providers to host and run Ask Ari, including Cloudflare (website and data storage), ElevenLabs (Ari’s voice), a phone and SMS provider, and an AI model provider for the owner-app assistant. Some providers may store or process information outside Canada. They may only use it to provide their service to us.
Calls and AI
Ari always says she is an AI assistant at the start of a conversation. A shop using Ask Ari is responsible for telling its customers how their calls are handled, and for any call recording notices that apply to it.
How long we keep it
Setup requests are kept until we no longer need them to follow up, and no longer than 24 months. Shop call and text records are kept while the shop’s account is active, then deleted within 90 days of cancellation unless the law requires otherwise.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal information, or withdraw consent, by emailing [PRIVACY EMAIL]. If you get a marketing email from us, you can unsubscribe anytime by replying “stop.”
